The leggings are a lovely fabric and seem well made but I could not make them work for me at nearly 7 months pregnant. I initially bought the size 12 when I was 6 months pregnant and they fit great but as my belly has grown, they've gotten too small. The size 12 still fits well in the legs but are uncomfortably tight in the belly/waist. I then ordered a size 14 - the size 14 are a bit baggy in the legs but fit well in the belly/waist. So perhaps I am just not the normal body shape but it was disappointing as it's really hard to find things that fit in the later months. I am normally a size 10 for M&S trousers and a size M for sports leggings. I have also bought the flare leggings in size 14 and I think these will last me for the rest of the pregnancy.
Love the feel of these leggings and the flare is really flattering, lots of compliments on them. Brilliant quality material, I will wear and wear these!
Just to note for the shorties…I am 5’2 and the 30inch did come up a tad long but I am used to this, so I got them taken up by a seamstress.
Recommended from a friend and I am so happy with my first ever pair of maternity leggings!
I’m 5’2 and the 7/8 length comes up full length on me which is perfect. Gorgeous material and bump feels supported, room for growth too! Looking to buy in more colours now!
Thank you so much for your review Lucy - I am delighted that you love the leggings and the flares! Claire x
I have been following this brand years before becoming pregnant and now finally ordered my first pair. Love the fit and feels like good material!
That's so lovley to hear! I am delighted that you love the leggings and huge congratulations on your pregnancy! Claire x
Looked for nursing sports bras for a couple of weeks postpartum and the Natal ones tucked all the boxes. Definitely an investment worth making. Really comfy to wear and supportive enough for a pretty vigorous workout!
I’ve got a hungry boy who wants feeding a lot and it allowed me to pause workouts and feed discreetly in the gym.
Bra was recommended by my physiotherapist as I wanted to get back jogging while still breastfeeding. The bra is very comfortable and supportive but also easy to feed in.
Lovely looking sports bra but mine is a little uncomfortable, it's quite tight across the shoulders. I was a 34B pre pregnancy and 36C during pregnancy so thought a medium would fit, I would size up if buying again. Breastfeeding access is good and feels really supportive.
Does the jobs perfectly! At 19 weeks pregnant it is comfortable to wear (no boob pain 🥳) AND super supportive for running and gyming in. The extendable strap makes it useable throughout pregnancy.
Thanks so much for your lovely review Gemma - the colour looks amazing on you! Claire x
Very nice material and fit. I'm usually a size 10/12 pre pregnancy and went with size 12 as recommended in the size chart, and feel like these will definitely fit me throughout the rest of the pregnancy (in third trimester now).
Super comfy and easy to use when breastfeeding. I wear it when I dont exercise too as I find it better than other maternity bras.
Comfortable maternity leggings that look nice, however the fabric becomes loose after only wearing for a couple of hours and doesn’t feel fitted.
Haven’t worn it yet but I is super soft and stretchy, can’t wait to put to use when baby is here. Very practical design and seems good quality!
I bought this 2mo post partum as I’ve started going back to Pilates and Yoga classes and this is perfect to be able to feed baby easily around that! Happy with the sizing as well and very comfortable!
I’m 26 weeks and size 10 they fit very well and very supportive and comfortable. Not sure how long they will last if I get any bigger but good so far!
I ordered these at the end of November and loved them immediately! But after just a month of wearing them (maybe twice a week at most?) I'm seeing loose threads on the seam up at the top, and worrying about the rest. Hopeful that it's a one off, but unlikely to invest another £50+ in another pair.
Hi Allie,
Thank you for your review - it sounds like there is an issue with your leggings as certainly the stitching shouldn't be fraying - these should be lasting you years! Could I ask you to send some images of the problem to help@natalactive.com so we can look into this for you? Best wishes, Claire x
I wore these with my first and I’m still buying various colours of these now that I’m on my third pregnancy. They are so luxurious and hard wearing. I love them. The best part is I wear them post pregnancy so the investment feels worth it as the quality is so good.
Overall I really like it. Well made. Quality material. Have been able to breastfeed and pump using it. I definitely feel well supported in it, unlike other sports bras I have that are not designed for lactating Mums. I might have needed a different size though as the band feels a little tight around my chest. It will probably loosen up though. Still very new
Good quality material. Feels warm. Zip locations are perfect. Great fit. Would buy again.
Great for nursing while exercising but unfortunately not suitable for high impact exercise as advertised. But otherwise nicely designed.
I have been working out 5x week throughout pregancy (combination of weights/squats and running) and swear by these leggings. Have been wearing them since about 18 weeks (now 34). Bought in multiple colours - both the shorts and the leggings. Now I am in the later stages of pregnancy, these are the only trousers I wear (the black without pockets have a slightly less 'sporty' look and are perfect for work).
Have been living in these sports bras throughout pregnancy (since about 18 weeks). Comfortable and supportive. Washes well and bought additional colours I loved it so much. I am somewhere between sizes (pre-pregnancy 34 DD/E) and found that sizing up to the Large was more comfortable for me. Still plenty of support but I found the band was too tight at the Medium.
The market for nursing sports bras, particularly for larger busts, is incredibly limited from what I have seen, but I expected these to be better given the hype on social media (including from pregnancy fitness influencers) and the high price. However, they are just OK. They are quite ill-fitting, feel like a bikini top, and don't offer great support (although to be fair they are marketed as only medium support). I realise nursing sports bras is a niche market segment because breastfeeding is typically only carried out for a snapshot of time and not all people nursing will require a sports bra, but the broad fitting - especially for larger busts - is never going to work.
Positives are that they are relatively comfortable, the feeding element works well, and they look nice (the blue is a really nice colour).
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on the Freyja. Getting the right fit in a nursing sports bra can be tricky – especially with larger busts – so if you’d like, we’re very happy to go through your measurements and double check you have the best size and style for you. Thousands of mums do love these bras for low to medium-impact movement, and we’re currently working on a higher-impact option too. If you’re open to it, drop us a message and we’ll get you properly supported. Best wishes, Claire x
