Love this sports bra and use it for running/gym work. It's really comfortable and easily adjustable and very supportive. Would recommend
Bought these for a week's walking holiday in Romania at 5 months pregnant as none of my normal walking shorts or trousers fitted anymore. They were fab; stretchy and supportive. I look forward to wearing them throughout my pregnancy.
Lovely, buttery soft fabric. Great fit and very comfotable to wear. I'm only 19 weeks but they stay up no problem! The leg pocket is very useful and one of the main reasons I bought these. Would definitely recommend
I had an issue with the courier company who lost the order. Claire responded to extremely promptly to investigate and then replaced the item when the courier company could not locate it.
The bra is excellent and quality and works well for my return to running post pregnancy. I also find I can feed easily and with the nursing feature. I plan to buy again
These hoodies are extremely comfortable and amazing for feeding. I now have them in all different colours. They wash fantastically. With my first child, I wore them solidly for nearly 18 months. Now expecting my second and getting the new colours. I love this brand so much the customer service and the quality is unmatched. Cannot recommend enough. If you’re looking for maternity or nursing clothes. Natal Active is a go to.
Nursing bras are typically not great to look at but this one is beautiful. A really supportive design too. Well-made and good fitting too.
The best/only option I've found, but far from perfect. In case it helps others with sizing: pre-pregnancy, I was a 28/30 FF/G, so fall into the gap between Freyja and Artemis designs. S in Artemis much too baggy in band and way too small in cups. XS in Freyja fits well in band, cups okish (slight gaping at sides) but straps need to be as small as they can go. Works for HIIT when not jumping, not enough support for running. Clasps great yet v high up on collarbone for me. Straps attach to band at the back with bikini style clips so switching to racerback for additional support just about do-able whilst wearing it. Unable to keep in racerback long term as thick straps dig into my neck - ok for an hour or so but not a day-long hike. Good quality product, other colours in Freyja would be nice. Overall, serves a purpose but need to wear non-nursing option for running.
Hi Julia, Thanks so much for your detailed review – it’s really helpful for others navigating those in-between sizes.
The Freyja is designed as a medium-impact bra, so it's great for activities like strength training, yoga or brisk walks, but we wouldn’t usually recommend it for high-impact workouts like running, especially if you're looking for that extra level of compression and bounce control.
With the racerback option, it’s definitely easier to clip the straps into place before putting the bra on, rather than trying to wrestle them into position while wearing it, which we agree isn’t the most straightforward move!
I really appreciate the feedback on the fit and support, and you will be pleased to know we are also looking expanding the colour range later this year too.
Best wishes,

Really really wanted this sports bra to work but unfortunately far too tight!! I used my current pregnancy bra size to pick the relevant size but the sizing was just way off. The cross straps also make it more complicated than it needs to be getting it on and off and needed my husbands help with this! The padded cups inside are also not the right size so they just don’t sit right and make it look like you have 4 boobs. All in all very disappointing
HI Jas, Thanks for your feedback – I’m really sorry to hear the bra didn’t work out for you. We don’t usually recommend choosing based on your current pregnancy size, as our bras are designed to fit throughout pregnancy and into postnatal, so sizing is created in a way that allows for use of the extender at the crucial times in later pregnancy to also allow for a better postnatal fit.
If you’re happy to send over your underbust and overbust measurements, I’d be more than happy to check thgem against what you ordered and recommend a better size or style for you.
Also, if you find doing bras up at the back tricky, this one can be worn with the straps straight instead of crossed (so you can do it up at the front and spin it round) It’s not quite as supportive that way, but it can make it much easier to get on and off. Just drop us a message if you’d like help working out the best fit.

My second pair of these leggings! Love them. Bought my first pair during my pregnancy 4 years ago and still wear them now. Was a no brainer to buy a second pair for my current pregnancy. Fit well over the bump even in the 3rd trimester.
I love these!!! Ordered my normal size and was worried they'd be too short on me as I didn't want my cankles on show. I'm 5ft4 and they're the perfect length. They're so soft and comfortable and will definitely last my entire pregnancy.
Lovely hoodie. Good length and fit, purchased in L, would say I’m a larger 12 small 14. Washes well and is very soft. Practical too for breastfeeding which I would continue to wear after.
Beautifully soft and very supportive, love the vibrant colour too. Would definitely recommend

I am almost 2 years PP and I am still ordering these to wear. I had a CS and these tuck in the mum pouch great. Plus the pockets save my life as I never have hands free.
I held off buying a nursing sports bra because I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy yet another thing when I might be able to make do with old ones, but now I've got it I really wish I had bought one sooner! I'm 6 months postpartum now. The quality and fit of the freja is perfect for me. I messaged for advice for sizing and they were really helpful. So glad I've bought one eventually!
Amazing, currently 29 weeks pregnant, have been using these for a few weeks now at the gym for strength training and will continue to do so during and after pregnancy. Squat proof as well which is a plus!
I had a baby two weeks ago so the thought of getting into a pair of tight leggings was very scary! I bought the size I would have been before I was pregnant which also panicked me but I wanted a bit of motivation to get for again.
All my worries disappeared when I received the leggings. They fit like a glove and give me alot of confidence! The material is so lovely and soft and the style/ design is fab.
Love love love!
The bra offers great support, but when breastfeeding the padding inserts in the cups fold in half which are then really fiddly to fix. They are like those in swimwear. If they were just one piece of padded fabric it would be much better and I’d likely have given it 5 stars
Really happy with this sports bra. It’s so comfortable and very supportive. Love the colour too! Although more expensive than other brands I feel it’s worth the money.
The clips are easy to release and do up with one hand. Saving up for another bra now!
I wear this bra all the time now! It's so soft and comfortable, and the nursing hooks are very robust. The bra extender is also so useful. Such a great buy and has allowed me to enjoy hiking and working out again post partum.
Speedy shipping. Gorgeous colour. Super comfy and supportive for getting back to running. Great practicality for feeding. Would 100% recommend and will be back for another colour!
It's really hard to know which maternity/nursing bras are going to be right for you when browsing online but the reviews for these bras were so positive that I decided to give it a shot. Cannot fault these and definitely worth the price! Comfortable and supportive in a way that none from high street suppliers have been so far, the extender has been very handy. Overall really pleased with it (and fabulous colour)! Already planning to buy a couple more, can't find a fault :)
Good fit, supportive, really like the extention hook and eyes, really reassuring around pregnancy and a changing body.
I ordered these when they were on sale so I didn’t pay full price, but even with discount they were pricey so I expected more. I’m not that tall (5 foot 4”) but the leggings feel a bit short. They also don’t stay up on the belly and constantly slip down, which is very annoying especially when using them for yoga. I mainly ordered them because I was struggling to find maternity leggings with pockets and the pockets are handy. It’s just annoying how the leggings don’t feel long enough and don’t stay in place.
Hi Katie,
I am sorry to hear you were a little disapointed with the leggings - they are a 7/8th length so a shorter style, but we do have full length available in our Panther style and will be adding more styles soon. If they are slipping it may be that they are a little too big - a guide for this is if there is any gathering in the crotch area you could do with a smaller size as they right fit should stay put through every stage! If you need any more help with fitting, feel free to pop me an email on help@natalactive.com. Best wishes, Claire x
I ordered the Freyja bra as I'm desperately trying to find a good, supportive sports bra that also works for nursing - which seems to be a bit of a unicorn, particularly for anyone with a larger bust!
I'm a 34G, and ordered both the M and L to try. I actually found the L more comfortable, though appreciate it may mean slightly less support.
The bra works OK for lower impact exercise and strength training, and the drop down nursing cups function pretty well.
My main issues are the straps (it's very difficult to get on as in order to be supportive you need the straps to cross at the back, which I found almost impossible once it was on, but doing it before putting it over my head was also very uncomfortable), and the little firm cups inside the drop down cups, which are too small to be effective on me and feel more like hard nipple covers.
I'd prefer straps that have a clasp that can pull them into a racer back in the centre (see Panache sports bras for reference) for ease, and ideally softer cup inserts so they work better for all cup sizes.
Definitely an improvement on my current solution for the gym though!
Hi Jess,
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback – it's genuinely really helpful to hear how you're finding the Freyja bra. You’re absolutely right that Freyja isn’t designed as a high-impact bra – with medium impact support it’s better suited to workouts like strength training, yoga, HIIT or walking, so it sounds like you’ve been using it exactly as intended.
We’re absolutely taking your points on board about the straps. A clasped racerback option is something we’ve had a few requests for now, and are looking into this as park of our development plans. If you are not keen on the padded cups, these can easily be removed via the small slit at the sides of the bra.
Best wishes,
Claire x
