Our nursing sports bra for larger cup sizes is now better than ever! 

Based on our award winning Artemis design, the new Freyja nursing sports bra for larger cup sizes gives more coverage and support to bigger boobs.

We have widened the band to provide a more supportive and comfortable shelf, and widened the straps to help prevent digging in, using even more supportive fabric. With a higher set front and underarm, the bra gives greater coverage and support to larger cup sizes.

And with our new clasp design at the back, you can now wear the straps straight for everyday wear, or crossed for better than ever support.

The clips are backed on to fabric to prevent any rubbing at the front and each bra comes with a matching extender so that you can wear it throughout pregnancy, breastfeeding and beyond!

Measuring bra size

We always recommend choosing your pre-pregnancy size for the best fit during and after pregnancy. The bras will expand with your bust and the bra extender will ensure the band fits to the end of your pregnancy while also ensuring you have the most supportive postnatal fit as your body settles post baby. For the most consistent sizing we use the Boob or Bust calculator which you can use to help guide you on size (as retailers can vary hugely!)

In search of the perfect nursing sports bra...

I ordered the Freyja bra as I'm desperately trying to find a good, supportive sports bra that also works for nursing - which seems to be a bit of a unicorn, particularly for anyone with a larger bust!
I'm a 34G, and ordered both the M and L to try. I actually found the L more comfortable, though appreciate it may mean slightly less support.
The bra works OK for lower impact exercise and strength training, and the drop down nursing cups function pretty well.
My main issues are the straps (it's very difficult to get on as in order to be supportive you need the straps to cross at the back, which I found almost impossible once it was on, but doing it before putting it over my head was also very uncomfortable), and the little firm cups inside the drop down cups, which are too small to be effective on me and feel more like hard nipple covers.
I'd prefer straps that have a clasp that can pull them into a racer back in the centre (see Panache sports bras for reference) for ease, and ideally softer cup inserts so they work better for all cup sizes.
Definitely an improvement on my current solution for the gym though!

You’re absolutely right that Freyja isn’t designed as a high-impact bra – with medium impact support it’s better suited to workouts like strength training, yoga, HIIT or walking, so it sounds like you’ve been using it exactly as intended.

We’re absolutely taking your points on board about the straps. A clasped racerback option is something we’ve had a few requests for now, and are looking into this as park of our development plans. If you are not keen on the padded cups, these can easily be removed via the small slit at the sides of the bra.

Terrible. Sizing is just not accurate in any way. I would have had to go up two sizes I'm guessing for a correct fit. I missed the return date so a disappointment all round.

Bras can indeed vary in sizing across different brands, and we always recommend checking measurements carefully, as we follow the Boob or Bust guidelines to ensure accurate sizing.

Sizing is off and no free returns

Disappointed to have received a bra that is labelled G-J cup which is more like a C-D cup. It is not sized correctly in my opinion. I had to pay to return it only to have received it back again yesterday as it had been refused by Natal Active!!! Absolutely ridiculous and very disappointing.

Unfortunately as a very small one-woman business, we are unable to currently offer free returns as larger brands are able, however you can request a free exchange when returning or use the free delivery code to reorder with no additional shipping charges. Good for moderate intensity exercise

I found it a little tricky to get it on (involved me twisting around at slightly awkward angles, but I'm always bad at putting on bras!) It's supportive enough for moderate intensity exercise but I don't think I want to run in it, there was quite a lot of bounce, and I need my 34GGs strapped down! Easy enough to nurse in. Still looking for that unicorn of a nursing sports bra for high intensity exercise for big boobs.
