Maternity Shorts - Jet Black

Need some help? Find your fit.

Our squat proof maternity shorts, have been designed to see you through every stage of your pregnancy and still fit perfectly postnatally.

The technical, fast wicking fabric is perfect for those warm summer days and the 6 inch inseam makes them as ideal for a run as for wearing under summer dresses. (Because lets face it, who doesn't suffer from the dreaded thigh rub in pregnancy?) And guess what? These maternity cycling shorts HAVE POCKETS!!

The over bump band provides support to your bump, back and hips and can be folded down for extra support. And they are of course, totally squat proof.

These maternity shorts are an absolute must have in your summer wardrobe.

A word on sizing...

The supportive nature of this fabric means they come up a little smaller than the Luxe Leggings so if you prefer less of a tight fit we suggest selecting a size larger than your leggings.

Our model is 37 weeks pregnant and wearing size 8.

It can be tricky to know what size to get when your shape is constantly changing. We want to ensure you get a perfect fit every time so have created this handy size guide to help you get it right.

Measuring bra size

If you are not sure what bra size you currently are, grab a tape measure and check out Boob or Bust who have a handy calculator, calibrated to take pregnancy and breastfeeding in to account.

This chart calculates in line with the Boob or Bust size guides rather than the bra size you wear. This is because bra sizes vary hugely between brands and we want to ensure you get the best fit every time.  At the very least we recommend choosing the size that corresponds with your under bust measurement in inches - not your bra size!

We always recommend choosing your pre-pregnancy size for the best fit during and after pregnancy. If you are already pregnant and finding bras too tight, we'd typically suggest picking one size below your current under bust measurement and using the bra extender to the end of your pregnancy (for the best postnatal fit).

Still not sure? Drop us an email on with your measurements and current bra size and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Really great running shorts for maternity. They don’t slip and are very supportive. 2x side pockets really useful too. I wore these all the way to term and they didn’t disappoint!

Excellent product!

Absolutely love my new maternity shorts! The fit is excellent, really supportive on bump and don't slip down at all! The pockets are also a great addition!

Very tight - make sure to upsize

I was really pleased to see these in a 10 given how quickly Natal Active sells out. However, make sure you note the warning on the upsize!! - I CANNOT even get the band over my 34 week bump (there’s nothing snug about it!!)

I’m the smaller end of a size 10 for bottoms usually (size 8 on top) so thought these would be ok. But not being able to pull up over bump is somewhat disappointing.

I’m hoping I’ll be able to use these more once baby comes, hence giving two stars as the material is really nice and I can see how they would fit nicely if I could actually get them over bump….

Beautiful with deep pockets

Love these shorts! They stay up well and look great. Deep pockets on the sides, only wish there was a back pocket with a zip too.

Great shorts!

I ordered these as a friend recommended them and I’ve been really happy with my purchase. The fabric is really soft and lovely and they’re very supportive. I wore them for a 20km hike the first time I wore them and they were so comfy!
